Official notification के अनुसार: “No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed.”
यह IBPS PO और IBPS Clerk से बड़ा advantage है। कमज़ोर subject में कम marks आने पर दूसरे section से compensate कर सकते हैं।
⭐ SBI Clerk Exam की Unique Characteristics
SBI Clerk exam मे कुछ ऐसी बातें हैं जो इसे IBPS Clerk और अन्य banking exams से अलग बनाती हैं।
No Sectional Cutoff (दोनों Stages)
Prelims और Mains दोनों में कोई sectional cutoff नहीं होता है। यह SBI Clerk का सबसे बड़ा advantage है।
No Interview
इसमे IBPS PO की तरह interview नहीं है। Final selection सिर्फ Mains marks पर होती है।
LLPT — Local Language Test
कुछ candidates के लिए Local Language Proficiency Test जरूरी होता है। जो कि सिर्फ qualifying nature का होता है, इसके marks जुड़ते नहीं है।
Computer Aptitude (Mains)
SBI Clerk Mains में Computer Aptitude Reasoning के साथ combined section में आता है।
State-wise Merit List

🎯 SBI Clerk 2026 Selection Process
SBI Clerk का selection process तीन stages में होता है। जिसे शुरू से ही समझना बहुत जरूरी है:
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam
100 Marks | 60 Minutes | 3 Sections | Sectional Timing (20-20-20 min)
यह सिर्फ Qualifying stage होती है। इसके marks final merit में नहीं जुड़ते है। इसमे कोई Sectional Cutoff नहीं होता है। सिर्फ overall cutoff से shortlisting होती है। Top candidates को Mains के लिए shortlist किया जाता है।
Stage 2: Mains Exam
200 Marks | 2 Hours 40 Minutes | 4 Sections
इसमे कुल 190 questions होते है जो की कुल 200 marks के होते है। इसमे भी कोई Sectional Cutoff नहीं होता है। Final merit सिर्फ Mains marks के आधार पर बनती है और इसमे एक State-wise merit list भी बनती है।
Stage 3: LLPT — Local Language Proficiency Test
Qualifying in Nature | Marks Final Merit में नहीं जुड़ते
यह test सिर्फ उन candidates के लिए होता है जिन्होंने 10th या 12th में state की local language नहीं पढ़ी हो, उन्हें यह test देना होता है। इसको Pass करना जरूरी है क्योंकि इसमे fail होने पर appointment नहीं मिलती।
Final Merit Formula — SBI Clerk 2026
+ LLPT qualify करना mandatory (qualifying in nature, marks नहीं जुड़ते)
- ⚠️ State-wise Merit: SBI Clerk में vacancies और final merit list state-wise होती है। आप जिस state में apply करते हैं, उसी state के candidates से compete करते हैं। अपनी home state की last 3 years की cutoff जरूर research करें।
📝 SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
SBI Clerk Prelims pattern IBPS Clerk और SBI PO Prelims से थोड़ा अलग है। यहाँ English 30, Numerical Ability 35, और Reasoning 35 questions होते हैं। Sectional timing 20-20-20 minutes होती है।
- ✅ No Sectional Cutoff Advantage: SBI Clerk Prelims में कोई sectional cutoff नहीं है। अगर Reasoning में कम marks आए, तो English या Numerical में extra marks से compensate हो सकता है। Overall score matter करता है। हर गलत answer पर 0.25 marks कटते हैं। Unattempted questions पर कोई penalty नहीं है।
