📌 IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2026 Overview
No Interview
- 🆕 2026 Revised Mains Pattern: IBPS ने Mains exam pattern में बड़ा बदलाव किया है। अब Mains में 190 की जगह सिर्फ 155 questions होंगे और time 160 minutes से घटकर 120 minutes हो गया है। Computer Aptitude section हटा दिया गया है।

बैंकिंग exam की तैयारी कर रहे ऐसे बहुत से students है जो दोनों exams की तैयारी साथ करते हैं। नीचे दोनों exam के बीच important differences बताए गए है जिसे आप देख सकते है।
IBPS PO (नहीं है Clerk में)
- Interview होता है (100 marks)
- Mains में Descriptive Paper
- Mains 225 marks का
- 3 hr 30 min का Mains
- Final merit: Mains 80% + Interview 20%

- 💡 Strategy Tip: Prelims syllabus लगभग same है दोनों का — इसलिए दोनों exams की तैयारी साथ में efficiently हो सकती है। Mains level IBPS PO का थोड़ा higher होता है।
🎯 IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2026
IBPS Clerk का selection process IBPS PO से थोड़ा आसान है। इसमे सिर्फ 2 stages होते है और कोई interview नहीं होता है। पर इसमे Mains exam सबसे critical stage है।
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam
100 Marks | 60 Minutes | 3 Sections (Sectional Timing 20-20-20 min)
Clerk मे भी Prelims qualifying stage होती है। इसके marks final merit में नहीं जुड़ते है। पर इसमे भी Sectional + Overall cutoff दोनों clear करनी होती हैं।
200 Marks | 120 Minutes | 4 Sections | Revised Pattern 2026
Clerk मे Final selection सिर्फ Mains marks के आधार पर होता है। mains exam मे प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर State-wise merit list बनती है। और Sectional cutoff यहाँ भी लागू होता है।
Final Merit Formula — IBPS Clerk
Note: IBPS PO में Mains 80% + Interview 20% होता है, लेकिन Clerk में कोई Interview नहीं है।
- ⚠️ State-wise Merit: IBPS Clerk में vacancies और merit list state-wise होती है। मतलब आप जिस state में apply करेंगे, उसी state के candidates से competition होगा। अपने home state की cutoff जरूर check करें।
📝 IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
Clerk Prelims pattern IBPS PO जैसा ही है। इसमे भी 3 sections, sectional timing, 60 minutes total मिलते है पेपर हल करने के लिए। Prelims qualifying होता है इसके marks final merit में नहीं जुड़ते।
- ⚠️ Negative Marking: हर गलत answer पर 0.25 marks काटे जाते हैं दोनों — Prelims और Mains — में। Unattempted questions पर कोई penalty नहीं।
📚 IBPS Clerk Prelims Syllabus 2026 (Subject-wise)
Prelims में तीन Subject होते हैं। Clerk Prelims का level PO Prelims से थोड़ा आसान होता है — खासकर Reasoning और Numerical Ability में। नीचे आप विषयों के topics, total marks और प्रश्नों का स्तर देख सकते है।
English Language — 30 Questions, 30 Marks
English section में Reading Comprehension और grammar-based questions सबसे ज्यादा प्रश्न आते हैं। Clerk level में RC passages आमतौर पर PO से आसान होते हैं।

Clerk Prelims में Reasoning का level PO से थोड़ा सरल होता है। Puzzles थोड़े आसान होते हैं और inequality, syllogism से ज्यादा questions आते हैं।

Numerical Ability — 35 Questions, 35 Marks
IBPS Clerk Prelims में Numerical Ability section का level moderate होता है। Simplification और Number Series में ज्यादा questions आते हैं जो की PO मे आने वाले प्रशनों से अलग होते है। इसमे उमीदवारों के पास Basic arithmetic strong होनी चाहिए।

IBPS ने अपने Clerk Mains Exam 2026 में बड़े बदलाव किए हैं। जैसे Questions घटाए गए हैं, time कम किया गया है, और Computer Aptitude section हटा दिया गया है। इसका मतलब यह है की अब प्रश्नों को काम समय मे हल करना होगा और वो भी ज्यादा accuracy के साथ है।
